Abstract | Human resources face various challenges, including a shortage of skilled labor, the need to enhance competencies, an aging workforce, high turnover, and limited appeal to young professionals. Additionally, the diversity and specificity of professions in many industries necessitate specialized training and skills, exacerbating these challenges. In this context, artificial intelligence (AI) presents an opportunity to revolutionize human resource (HR) practices. AI addresses specific HR challenges by improving recruitment through automated CV sorting, streamlining onboarding with personalized training, and optimizing performance management with data-driven evaluations. It also aids in employee retention by predicting turnover risks and assessing satisfaction, optimizes workforce management with staffing forecasts and effective shift planning, and promotes diversity by reducing HR biases. However, adopting AI in HR raises ethical concerns, such as algorithmic bias, privacy issues, and potential discrimination. These challenges highlight the need for transparent and fair implementation of AI systems to maintain trust and fairness in HR practices. This project explores how AI is reshaping workforce dynamics. It focuses on leveraging AI-driven innovations to enhance recruitment, training, productivity, and overall employee satisfaction while addressing the ethical challenges of algorithmic bias and privacy concerns. This work emphasizes the importance of responsible AI adoption to maintain trust and fairness in HR practices, particularly in the context of Industry 5.0, which prioritizes the human-centric integration of advanced technologies. A textile and fashion industry case study will be developed to demonstrate how AI-powered workforce management systems reduce employee turnover and improve productivity, highlighting AI's potential to address industry-specific HR challenges while ensuring ethical considerations.
