Abstract | Software is one of the components that make up a computer and is responsible for enabling the physical device to function. In the past, software performed only simple functions, but with the development of society, software is used in all areas of society and plays a significant role. If software fails, this increased reliance on software has resulted in significant socioeconomic losses. Therefore, software reliability plays a significant role. We do the excellence of the model developed through criteria. However, it is difficult to judge the characteristics of each criterion comprehensively. To make a comprehensive judgment, MCDM is used to help make a multifaceted judgment. In this study, we use MCDMR which can simultaneously consider multiple goodness-of-fit criteria based on the difference between predicted and estimated values to demonstrate the excellence of existing software reliability models.
