Abstract The purpose of this study is to combine the ESG indicators of social corporate responsibility to find out the indicators of sustainable management strategies for Taiwan’s smart machinery industry, in order to help companies re-examine their core values and make contributions to future business strategies. Firstly, the research method was used to figure out not only the development of smart machinery but also the current state and trend of sustainable management of enterprises by means of the literature review. Based on the theoretical basis of the Dow Jones Sustainability Index, the index structure of the sustainable management strategies of the industry was initially planned, and the fuzzy decision-making analysis method was integrated to carry out the analysis of expert questionnaires. The weight value of each index was measured and then ranked, and relevant management implications were put forward as well. They are viewed as the reference of the priority order for the smart machinery industry when implementing the sustainable management strategies in the future, so that the relevant businesses can develop into the enterprises with the prospect of sustainable development.
