Abstract This paper proposes a novel reliability allocation algorithm by introducing an Importance-Weighted Geometric Mean approach to extend the traditional “Feasibility of Objectives” Method. This extension makes the allocation method more flexible and general to accommodate a wide range of engineering factors in real world reliability allocation.
