| Abstract | We consider some maintenance policies in backward model with the reversed failure rate. When the unit has failed, we consider two models: we trace back from time 0 to detect the failure time, and from time S to detect the failure time. We discusses optimal checking times for the models using finite interval model, and show the numerical examples when the failure distribution is Weibull.
