Abstract For environment tests, on one hand, the accuracy of test stresses exposed on the test sample is of great importance. However, due to the instability of the measurement system and the nonuniformity of the test space, the measurement values shown on the test chamber always differ from those around test specimen. The difference can sometimes go beyond the tolerance limits. Thus, calibration should be carried out periodically and correction based on the calibration data is also needed. But even so, correction merely compensates the system error, and it also has uncertainty. On the other hand, uncertainty evaluation of temperature performance is critical to the quality of temperature test. The uncertainty comes from several aspects. It is worth noting that uncertainty resulted from correction should also be considered. Considering this, this paper discusses the correction algorithm using least square method, and the evaluation of uncertainty resulted from correction and other aspects. Lastly, it gives an uncertainty evaluation of test chamber temperature performance by an example. The evaluation result provides a scientific basis for the test’s quality control at a certain temperature.
