Abstract The wireless communication technology, device design, and the user interface of mobile devices have dramatically changed in recent years. Meanwhile, cloud computing also became a hot topic with the vigorous development of Internet Technology. Mobile users like to save their data in the cloud and to use various services from mobile applications via wireless networks connected to the cloud. Mobile cloud computing system could be treated as the integration of mobile network and cloud computing, and it is proposed as the solution of better service provisioning systems. More and more mobile cloud computing systems will come to market and it will be a decision problem for the system developers or customers to design or choose a preferred one. This paper proposed a methodology to develop quality models for comparing the system quality and quality in use based on user requirements in mobile cloud computing environments. This method would transform user requirements into quality characteristics and measurement indexes, and it will leverage the advantages of mobile devices to provide better services for the new generation of mobile users.
