Abstract Reliability becomes an essential performance measure of several practical networks. This paper evaluates the reliability of a multistate air travel network to indicate the ability to satisfy the travel demand groups corresponding to different budgets within the time window. The MATN-G model is formulated, and the process to determine the minimal paths feasible within the time window and budget constraints is provided. Then, reliability is calculated by employing the concept of lower boundary points and the recursive sum of the disjoint products method. Through a numerical example, this study indicates how the main algorithm assesses the reliability in practice and proves the implications of this research.
